This is the archipelago situated just north of the Artic Circle where your incentive trip is highlighted by encounters with the Killer whale coming to feed on the herring in the fjords November to January. Deep sea rafting, skiing and fishing on the very same day and golfing under the midnight sun.
Accommodation can be provided in “Rorbu” cottages built right on the shore or over the water – the original temporary lodgings built for the fishermen in the Loften Islands.
The diversity is striking with snow capped-mountain peaks, bright sandy beaches and picturesque villages.
Many artists come to Lofoten inspired by the spectacular scenery and the fascinating quality of light and some of their works can be experienced in the galleries on the Lofoten.
