Stockholm – a city for gourmets!
18th June – 14th October 2012 you can enjoy food at extra high levels in Stockholm. On the roof of the Opera House “The Cube by Electrolux” will offer 18 guests at lunch or dinner an exclusive experience including the fantastic view from the roof and a unique, modern and sustainable concept of a restaurant on the roof. The food will be prepared by the very best chefs in Sweden and the team includes names like Mathias Dahlgren, Magnus Ek, Klas Lindberg and Stefano Catenacci. The food will be prepared in front of the guests in an open kitchen and the guests will be privy to tips and advice from the prestigious chefs.
For a more laid back experience visit “A Taste of Stockholm” 1st-6th June . It is a popular festival that each year attracts hundreds of thousands of people with a shared interest in food and drink. The downtown park Kungsträdgården, or ”King’s Garden”, is transformed into a party with culinary sensations and performances by many well known artists. One of the biggest novelties this year is the “Samsung Culinary Theatre” where you cook your own dinner together with Sweden´s specialist chefs for BBQ, hamburgers, dumplings and Texas Chili.
