Helsinki – World Design Capital 2012 and Scandinavian Incentives’ new destination
The New York Times has ranked Helsinki as number two of the world’s most interesting destinations in 2012 – one reason being Helsinki’s nomination as the World Design Capital and all events throughout the year connected to this. The second reason is the newly opened Helsinki Music Centre with its internationally acclaimed stellar acoustics – allegedly so good it brought the professional musicians to tears when they experienced it.
Helsinki is changing rapidly and can now boost boutique hotels, cool bars and internationally acclaimed restaurants. Helsinki is also interesting from an architectural point of view and still stands at a crossroads between East and West.
Scandinavian Incentives will be your partner arranging meetings and incentives in this pulsating and interesting city . If you have a limited budget you may find the rates more agreeable than in Scandinavia and with Finland being in the EURO zone you need not worry about exchange rates.
