Sweden – a country for culinary experiences

Swedish chefs and restaurants are continuing to impress and there are new innovative restaurants opening in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö .

In Ekstedts restaurant all cooking is made over open fire. In Mathias Dahlgren Matsalen a new 8 course menu is based on plants. Restaurant Bastard in Malmö joins the  rank of first class restaurant offering an ecological and local menu based on Modern European Homestyle Cooking.

The Swedish Government has pinpointed Gothenburg as the Sweden’s Capital of Food 2012 and numerous projects are under way promoting Good Swedish Cooking.
