Size does matter!
The hotels in Scandinavia are competing about being the tallest and the largest.
Today Copenhagen’s new design hotel Bella Sky Comwell opens its doors. With unique architecture and perfect location, Bella Sky Comwell is the largest hotel in the Nordic Countries with 814 rooms. But not for long! Gothia Towers in Gothenburg will add another tower and again take the first place of largest hotels, with 1200 guest rooms in 2014.
The taller the better? Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo is Norway’s largest hotel with 676 rooms on 37 floors – but also the tallest with its 117 meters. But it is soon to be beaten – at the end of the summer 2011, Scandic Victoria Towers in Kista Stockholm opens up in a formation of a large “T”, and one meter taller – 118 meters.
