Christmas spirit and Stavanger know-how
Time to prepare. Time to get updated.
Time to prepare all the food for the Christmas table. The Christmas table looks different from family to family but can include stuffed sausages, meatballs, pickled herring and salmon, rice pudding, ham, dried mutton ribs, cookies and toffee. To be washed down with Christmas beer and schnapps.
Time also to buy the Christmas tree. Or cut your own tree – a sport to many families but not allowed of course.
Make sure that you prepare porridge for Nisse (the gnome) in order to avoid him playing tricks, e.g. moving the animals in the barn around or braiding the horses’ mane and tail.

Stavanger
The staff of Scandinavian Image Oslo recently made a study trip to Stavanger, which is the 3rd largest city in Norway. Stavanger is a combination of new and old influences and among other things has the oldest cathedral in Norway. This year Stavanger has become known for “the naked man”… the cliff that theĀ man is standing on is Kjerag, which is located in the Stavanger region (see our newsflash from November 20).
After the interesting and inspiring tour with good food, some of Norway’s top chefs live and work here, Scandinavian Image Oslo is looking forward to host your incentive in Stavanger.
